Taejin Kim
Partner | Founder | Design Principal | General Contractor
Taejin Kim founded INEX Design Studio in 2000 and leads the firm’s design-build team, bringing together thoughtful design, refined detailing, and construction efficiency.
As both Design Principal and General Contractor, he is actively involved throughout the design and construction process, ensuring that design intent is carried through from concept to completion.
He earned his Bachelor of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
Jaehyung Jung
Partner | Co-Founder | Design Principal
Jaehyung Jung is a co-founder of INEX Design Studio and leads the firm’s design team, providing comprehensive architectural design and permitting services across a wide range of project types.
Before joining INEX, he worked as a Senior Project Designer at KKK, where he contributed to diverse international projects, including urban housing, commercial shopping centers, and resort developments.
He earned his Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and his Bachelor’s degree from Kyung Hee University.
Kevin Kang
Partner | Interior Design Principal
Kevin Kang leads the interior design-build team at INEX, creating distinctive, high-end spaces with a strong focus on refined detailing, craftsmanship, and contemporary design.
Before joining INEX, he gained extensive professional experience working with prominent interior design firms in Seoul, Canada, and Los Angeles, contributing to a diverse range of international projects.
In addition to his interior design practice, Kevin is also an installation artist, with work exhibited in Las Vegas.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree from Boston University.
Sungyub Jung
Partner | Executive Architect | AIA
Sungyub Jung serves as Executive Architect at INEX, overseeing design quality and project feasibility through careful analysis of building codes, constructability, and budget considerations.
He also supervises the preparation and coordination of building permit drawing sets, ensuring that each project meets regulatory requirements while maintaining its design intent.
Before joining INEX, he gained professional experience working on urban housing projects in Los Angeles and Seoul. He also served as a professor of architecture at the University of Ulsan in Korea, bringing both academic and professional perspectives to his architectural practice.
He earned his Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and his Bachelor’s degree from Hanyang University.
Jinwon Kim
Partner | Design Principal
Jinwon Kim serves as Design Principal at INEX, leading the firm’s design-build team with a focus on creative design, refined detailing, and construction efficiency. Before joining INEX, he gained extensive experience on diverse international projects, including urban housing, commercial shopping centers, and resort developments, working as a Senior Project Designer with internationally recognized architecture firms including The Jerde Partnership, MHA Studio, and EOM. He later served as Design Director at Dongwon Development & Construction in Korea, where he led development and design teams for major urban housing projects in Seoul. He earned his Master of Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and his Bachelor’s degree from Kookmin University.
